Systems of Equations for beginners

This playlist will help you with systems of equations. It starts with the basics and builds from there.

Video 1 covers the three types of systems of equations. The different types are, one solution,no solution, and infinite solutions.

Video 2 covers how to determine if an ordered pair is a solution to a systems of equations.

Video 3 covers the slope intercept form which is a way to describe a line. It is written as y = mx + b
m = slope and b = y-intercept.

Video 4 covers how to convert an equation into slope intercept form. Slope intercept form of the equation of a line is written as y = mx + b. The m represents the slope and the b represents the y-intercept of the line. Learn how to convert an equation like 4x = 3y + 3 into the slope intercept form of y = mx + b.

Video 5 covers how to graph an equation in slope intercept form. y = mx + b. The m represents the slope and the b is the y-intercept.

Video 6 covers how to solve systems of equations by graphing. You can use y = mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept to graph the line. After you graph both lines you can then see where they intercept and this will be your solution.
