This may come as a surprise but the deadliest animal is a Mosquito.
According to the World Health Organization, these tiny insects account for over 1 million deaths a year. Most of these are caused by malaria, along with West Nile virus and Dengue fever which are all deadly mosquito-borne diseases. By the way, crocodiles account for 1000 deaths, lions account for 250, sharks account for 5, and snakes cause the death of 50,000 people a year.
