Prime factorization of 144 and 168. Prime factorization which is also called integer factorization or prime decomposition involves finding which numbers multiply together to equal the original number. In this video, I use a factor tree to find the prime factors of 144 and 168.
Prime factorization of 144 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 or 2^3 x 3^2
Prime factorization of 168 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 7 or 2^3 x 3 x 7
