The way to convert a fraction to a percent
You can think of a fraction as division.
A fraction is basically the numerator divided by the denominator.
In order to convert a fraction to a decimal, you divide the numerator by the denominator.
Next, you can convert the decimal into a pct by moving the decimal two places to the right or spreading the percent by one hundred.

You can save time by memorizing several of the normal fractions, and their decimal equivalent.
For example 1/2 =. 50 3/4 =. 75
4/5 = 80
