In this video I show you three short cuts that help make comparing fractions very easy, and almost fun.
The three shortcuts are,
- If the denominators are the same, then the fraction with the largest nominator is the largest fraction.
- When you subtract the numerator and denominator of both fractions and it is equal then the fraction with the largest numerator is the largest.
- Finally, you can cross multiply, and the fraction with the largest product is the largest fraction.
