The key to one step equations ( also called linear equations) is isolating your variable by undoing what has been done to the variable.
When you isolate the variable whatever you to to one side of the equation, you must also perform on the other side of the equation.
For example x -3 = 7
In order to isolate the x you will need to add 3 to both sides of the equation.
In the videos above I have solved one step equations that include division,multiplication, addition, subtraction, and even fractions.
