After watching countless videos songs covering the order of operations, I narrowed the list down to these five.

Flocabulary - Order of Operations - PEMDAS

Flocabulary is an educational company that produces hip hop songs to help students learn Math and other subjects. Their video are well done, and not cheesy like many educational rap songs can be. Here is how they describe this video," This educational hip-hop song teaches the Order of Operations when evaluating expressions.”

PEMDAS

I found this video helpful for remembering the order of operations. The video received favorable reviews, and has 1395 thumbs up, compared to just 135 thumbs downs.

This video by Numbers Rock claims to, “breaks down the rules behind PEMDAS by breaking it down on the mean streets. “ The music sounds very old school, but I think you will enjoy the video, and it is another way to remember the order of operations.

Please Excuse my Dear Aunt Sally

If you search for songs on YouTube for order of operations you get a large number of videos created by teachers and students. I watched all of them, and enjoyed this one the most. I think 7th graders, and younger children will enjoy this video by the Singing History Teachers.

Order of Operations: Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally

This video is different than the previous order of operation songs. In this video a PowerPoint explaining the order of operations is set to bluegrass music. Sounds a little odd, but I found it works, and can be helpful in learning the order of operations.

Enjoy these songs that help with the order of operations, and tell me what you think. If you have additional resources that you have created or have used to help with this subject please leave a link in the messages below.
