Volume of a Cube

Math instructional video covering how to find the volume of a cube.

This video will help with the Common Core Standard  5MD.C.S
"Recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures and understand concepts of volume measurement."

A cube is a 3D geometric shape with right angles and equal length sides.

The 6 square faces of a cube create 8 corners (vertices), and 12 edges.

The volume of a cube is found by multiplying base area * height.

Because a cube has equal sides, any side can be used for the height.
