What does a Rhombus look like?


Most people think of a diamond when they think of a Rhombus. A Rhombus can take the shape diamond, but it can take on other shapes as well.
Here are 10 Properties of a Rhombus

A Rhombus is a Quadrilateral

A Rhombus has four sides.

The sides of a rhombus are congruent

The opposite sides are parallel

The opposite angles of a Rhombus are equal.

The diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular.

The diagonals of a Rhombus create four equal triangles.

The perimeter of a Rhombus equals 4 x Sides

The formula for area equals ½ d1 * d2
d = length of the diagonals

The diagonals bisect one another.
