Setting up Algebraic word problems

Setting up word problems can be tricky and frustrating. The video solves several word problems that are solved using algebra. The more you practice word problems the easier they become.



The three problems solved are as follows,



The length of a rectangular field is 10 meters less than 9 times the width. The perimeter is 140 meters. Find the length.



 If 7 is less than 4 times a number is 29. Find the number.



A rectangle has a length that is 4 meters more than the width. The perimeter is 184 meters. Find the length.
