Kindness multiplies Kindness

In this YouTube #short I tell the story of Peyton Manning. He tells the story of how in one game against Miami he lost his temper after what he considered was a bad call by the referee. He said he ran up to the ref and proceeded to yell, scream, and act like a fool over a call. The next morning he said he was embarrassed by his actions and contacted the league office to get his address in order to write a letter of apology. At the time Peyton Manning was one of the top players in the NFL and I'm sure no referee would expect a letter of apology. Writing a letter of apology would be a very kind gesture by Peyton Manning and impacted the referee in a very positive manner. We all get frustrated and sometimes say things we shouldn't. Although an apology may not solve all of the problems it is a small step in the right direction.

Be Kind

Questions to think about

Is there anyone right now that it would be helpful that you need to apologize?

Think of the last time someone apologized to you. How did it make you feel?

Have you had a situation in which you refuse to apologize? Why?
