Probability of Dependent Events with "or"

Friday, November 11, 2016

In this video I explain how to solve probability problems involving dependent events that are "or" problems.
For example,"What is the probabilty of picking a white short or a black shirt from a box of shirts?"
In order to solve these problems involving dependent events using "or" use the formula:
P(AorB) = P(A) +P(B) -P(A and B)
