Parallel lines are two lines , that no matter how far they extend, do not intersect with each other. They also are the same distance apart at any given point. Perpendicular lines are two lines that intersect and form right angles. Because of the unique properties of parallel and perpendicular lines have special slopes.The slopes Perpendicular lines are negative recipricals, and the slope of parallel lines are equal.
